East Yard Enterprises

Founded in 2017 as a creative community space in Arima, East Yard Enterprises evolved in 2021 into an independent creative social enterprise committed to merging creativity, community impact, cultural exchange, and commerce. Creativity is at the core of East Yard’s work. Our initiatives span curating exhibitions and events, providing creative strategy consulting for nonprofits, book publishing, and co-producing the Joki One x East Yard Mas Band — a collaborative Carnival venture reimagining Sailor Mas through contemporary, fashion-forward, and reusable costume design.

Sometimes, that step back is forced by stumbles and setbacks. Other times, it comes from introspection and the need to reassess where we are and where we want to go. 2026 has certainly brought its fair...

We begin to...

Something deeply human connects us when we gather. Long before we had conference rooms, social media, or coworking spaces, we gathered in yards, under trees, in churches, panyards, gayelles, classrooms, and street corners. We gathered to tell stories, solve problems, celebrate victories, mourn losses, and imagine better...

INSTAGRAM AMPLIFY STUDIO CAFE TINY THEATRE JOKI ONE X EAST YARD June Publisher’s Letter "Stick-to-it-iveness" is not the sexiest word, but I feel like it might be one of the most important. It refers to that stubborn determination to keep going when things get difficult and continue building when progress feels stagnated. As I reflected on this month's newsletter and how I’d introduce it, I realised that almost every person we feature, support, collaborate with, or celebrate possesses this...

Not in theory, but in practice. Not in isolation, but in community. At East Yard Enterprises, the AMPLIFY Connect: Creative Social Enterprise Fellowship has grown into more than a training programme. It is a living system designed to support creative entrepreneurs in building ventures that sit at the...
